allezcar Technologies Inc. ("allezcar", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding it.

We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25 / Loi 25).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account: email address, password (encrypted), name (optional), phone number (optional).

2.2 Vehicle Listings

When you publish a listing: vehicle details, asking price, mileage, photos, seller name, seller email and phone, city and province.

2.3 Buyer Demands

When you post a buyer demand: vehicle search criteria, budget, location, name, email, and phone (optional). This information is displayed publicly to registered sellers on the platform, as you consent to when submitting a demand.

2.4 Usage Data

Saved favorites, unlocked contacts, search history (session only), IP address and device type for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the allezcar platform.
• To display vehicle listings and connect buyers with sellers.
• To send account and listing notifications (expiry reminders, review status, etc.).
• To prevent fraud and maintain platform security.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider (data processor, hosted in North America).
• MarketCheck — a third-party vehicle data provider for dealer inventory. Dealer listings displayed on the platform are sourced from MarketCheck under a data licensing agreement.
• ClickAssure — an affiliated insurance quote partner. When you click a ClickAssure link, you are redirected to their site and subject to their own privacy policy. allezcar may receive compensation for such referrals.
• Government authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform, including authentication session cookies (Supabase Auth). These do not require your consent as they are essential to the service.

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will request your explicit consent beforehand, in accordance with Law 25 and applicable federal law.

6. Data Retention

• Vehicle listings expire after 60 days and are removed automatically.
• Buyer demands expire after 30 days.
• Account data is retained until you request deletion or close your account.
• Credit transaction logs are retained for 7 years for audit purposes.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, you have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — request that inaccurate information be corrected.
• Deletion — request erasure of your personal information (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Portability — receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawal of consent — withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

8. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss — including encryption of data at rest and in transit, and role-based access controls (Supabase RLS).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
